Download
1. When the File Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.

Diskette Creation
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to create the diskette set.
2. Insert a blank diskette then click Continue.
3. When prompted, repeat step 2 until you reach the end of the diskette set. Label each diskette with a disk number starting from 1.
4. After all the files have been copied to the last diskette, click Finish.

Installation
1. Insert the diskette created above into the target system.
2. Reboot the system to start the hard drive diagnostic.
3. Select the appropriate SCSI controller and press enter.
4. After scanning the drive(s), the disclaimer is displayed. Accept the terms (press "Y") to continue.
5. Use the menu selection(s) to select and test the drive(s).
6. Refer to "Using ELITE" in the "readme.txt" file on the diskette for further instructions.

Procedure
  Perform Diagnostic test on dell by pressing the F12 key on boot. Select diagnosis for hard drive there is more than 1 for the hard drive. I suggest you check with controller as well.

Call Dell with your client or server express service tag number such as 2S3LXXX.

Give them the diagnosis return code and have them deliver hard drive.

Insert DELL Operating System CD in bootable CD drive. Install and partition operating system.

Goto Device Manager and find any yellow question marks on devices. These devices are missing drivers and most of them can be found on the DELL Utility CD and newer ones can be downloaded from the DELL support area.

Next install Drivers from the DELL Utilities CD.

ALWAYS LOAD CHIPSET DRIVERS FIRST.

Then the video and the rest.

Make all of the yellow questionmarks go away.
